Spells

This is where I will be posting general spell information, ie my list of spells. I you have any handy spells that you would like to try, please put them up.

Spell for the Underweight Child

Collect either a darkly painted stone, dark blue or black to absorb the negative energies that may be influencing the child. 

A light blue or pink candle, pink for girl, blue for boy. 

An image of the child or the child. A green candle for health, healing, and growth. 

As well as the supplies for a tincture or the prepared tincture.

And your typical altar set-up

To prepare a hunger inducing tincture fill half a bottle with peppermint and half the bottle with ginger. Cover the herbs and fill the bottle with apple cider vinegar. If you wish you can also use an alcohol such as vodka 50 to 100 proof. Allow this to sit for as long as you can wait, ideally a month to a month and a half, though it can be utilized earlier if the child's condition is becoming severe. A hunger tincture can also be purchased from the net or a health food store. Remember to stay in communication with the child's pediatrician and or dietitian.

*Caste a circle in the normal way, the child may or may not be a part of it. Dedicate the candles for their specific purposes. Arrange the items on your altar to your choosing.

My child is in dire need of help

The child is sick and will not grow

Will not eat enough to ensure s/he thrives

*Place the image of the child or the child themselves between the two candles. Take the energy deep from inside your core and project it onto the child.

May this child grow

Strong and healthy

With each breath, with each bite,

This child grows,

The frail visage,

A distant memory fades away.

In its place health is growing,

Stronger and more vibrant now,

New fluids enter each cell,

Bringing healthy balance.

Mother nourishes, brings in healing energy,

Feeding the blood, healing blood flows,

Cleansing itself, renewing itself,

Feeding all of this child's body with needed strength,

This child is growing strong, healing is underway.

*Pick up the stone and anoint it either with the tincture or with your own blessing oil. Hold it in your palms close to your chest, chanting

In an arch of high energy shout out

By the power of three times three

So mote it be

So must it be!

Give the child the tincture one to three times a day, half an hour before a meal or as directed. If you are still nursing do not deny the child milk but do not offer it either so that he or she may be hungry for food. Place the stone to the child's skin or under his or her's bed and repeat the first part of the spell every night until you see a marked improvement. Nothing is more debilitating than a sick child, but do not fear, with the Lord and Lady's help, the two of you will persevere.
