Perform any space clearing or smudging that you enjoy and gets you in the moon. Caste a circle and call the quarters if you are inclined. Take three calming, clearing breaths. Align your goblet so that the full moon is reflected in it, or, if this is impossible, superimpose the image of the moon in the water/wine with your third eye. Let the ritual begin.
Mother Moon I call to thee
Lady Blessing comes to me
When the moon is full and round
Her energy doth pour down!
Raise the goblet above you.
Your child speaks!
I offer myself as a vessel;
Come into me,
Come down from on high!
Speak through my voice and utter
my prayer through your own lips.
I am Goddess!
Drink luxuriously from the goblet, feeling the energy and power of the Blessing Mother enter into you and become one with you.
I am Mother moon, (speak the name of the goddess of your choosing).
Mine is the time; the ripening, the blessing of the corn
The love of the earth, warmth, and my first fruits.
Lay your hands over the late plantings or ripening fruit. Project your energy onto it, clearing away anything that could stunt the growing life.
I bless these children of the soil
So shall they stretch forth their fingers toward me
And nourish this my vessel.
Stretch! Stretch, dear children!
Sit and commune with the essence of Goddess, let her impart onto you the lessons and assurances that you need. Do not demand anything from her, simply be with her and she will give what you need. When you are ready, continue and close the ritual.
Tonight, the night of the full moon, I have come to commune with my child. I cannot stay forever, though, for your life is your own. Call on me when the moon is full, see my face in you and yours. I, your mother, will always, always love you, no matter what you do. Good night, and blessed be.
Close the circle. Say good night to the quarters. Merry meet, and merry part, and merry may you meet again.
Happy Witching!
